Funded Proposal Systems Can Lead to MLM Success


Leads, leads, everywhere and not a dollar to count.

What is the point of getting leads if all you ever see in your MLM business is a bunch of tire-kickers who never intend to join your team---and never send commissions your way?  It is the frustration of every MLM entrepreneur: finding good leads and converting them into cash.

One of the newest and most successful ways of prospecting for recruits are called funded proposals and are exactly what they seem to be.  You get paid from prospects even if they don't become part of your downline, so your marketing and advertising efforts to find new recruits is paid for you, not by you.

Almost everyone who's been in the MLM business for any amount of time has no doubt started their business by contacting so-called 'warm' leads.  Warm leads are people you know who like you and just might be willing to join your business---family, friends, business associates. And some MLM owners have probably tried the nerve-wracking cold-calling methods, likely with limited success.

And those really desperate to increase their downline hand out business cards, walk up to strangers, do just about anything to get people interested in what you are selling.  Eventually, the leads dry up, attrition starts to eat away at your downline, and frustration with the whole MLM world starts to grow.

That's why the newest trend in MLM prospecting, funded automatic lead generation systems, is growing in popularity.  In a funded proposal system, the MLM owner offers a quality product for purchase of an item that someone interested in operating an MLM would be interested in.

The idea of offering a product is a simple one and works in two ways:

1. The product itself is attractive to people who want to learn more about the MLM business. Even if they don't join your downline, the MLM business owner still gets paid a commission because the prospect purchased the item.

2. Whoever just paid cold, hard cash for an educational DVD or book is a terrific lead. Chances are someone who is willing to buy a product is likely more than the tire-kickers MLM owners find so annoying.

The idea of offering something for a price is to educate the prospect further, to get them excited about the business, and then hopefully convert that person into a recruit. With this system, the MLM business owner is not only getting cash for selling a product, but also a good prospect.

People can argue that you can get good prospects without making people pay for products, that just the fact they are interested in learning more about MLMs makes them a good prospect. However, those lead systems don't give the MLM business owner cash in hand to increase their marketing budget.

Several MLM businesses are now offering funded proposals with automatic lead generation systems, so entrepreneurs in the MLM business can shop around for the best fit for them.
