So with that in mind I want to explain how to leverage your efforts in traffic exchanges. Notice I referred to traffic exchanges (plural).

So here is the important explanation I want you to understand.

Let's say you are using one traffic exchange. Let's suppose you surf for one hour and build up 100 credits, which would then display your website 100 times. That's good, but you're missing out on some leverage.

Do It For You--No One Else

No matter what you do, there will always be nay-sayers out there to stand in your way. There is always going to be someone there telling you that you can't accomplish your goal. The only person that can decide whether or not you can do it is you. Don't let people tell you that you can't get or don't deserve what you want.

What Do Nay-Sayers Say?

Nay-sayers will usually say things such as this:

-You can't do it.

-It's too hard.

-You're wasting your time.

-Why don't you try this? You'll be better at it.

-That won't work.

-You're going to fail.

Any negative comment someone makes toward something that you're passionate about is going to stand in your way only if you let it. If you think 'well, everybody's telling me I can't, so I guess I can't.', you're letting their words get to you. When you think 'Hey, I'm the only one in charge of what I can and can't accomplish, and I'm going to make it no matter what they say.', it's a much more positive direction to go. These people will tell you that they're looking out for you and that they only want and know what's best for you, but you're the one that truly knows.

This ties in directly with working online. People will be there to tell you 'I tried it and it didn't work. It won't work for you either.' Wrong. Every situation is different. You determine your online success. As long as you do the right things at the right time, you'll do fine. You've got to persevere and keep trying no matter how many times you are knocked down. Your first attempt at online success may not be perfect, but it will be an opportunity to learn something that you should do differently.

People fail online due to not trying hard enough and giving up when it gets tough. These folks truly aren't cut out for online success because there will be ups and downs no matter which way you go. More people fail because of flaws made in their first online business. This is normal--many people do not make it the first time. The ones who get up and dust themselves off and try it again are the ones that find success. It's not just going to come to them overnight, and they will always have people there telling them 'I told you it wouldn't work.' They don't listen to these people. They know that they're the ones who can tell themselves that their idea will work if they keep at it.

When it seems like no one is backing you up and everyone is telling you that you will fail, it does make things harder because you seem to be all on your own. There still are people out there willing to help, though. People get put down and discouraged every day, and if nothing else, that sometimes is their biggest incentive to make it online because they've got something to throw back at the negativity. They've got success and no one can take it away.

Funded Streamline Sponsoring YouTube Video Reviews

Here are two brief reviews of Paul Birdsall's Funded Streamline Sponsoring system and the included 'Free Leads 4 Life' Action Plan, using a video I posted on YouTube. The cool aspect of this is that I went to a Best Buy to record the video (on the latest new $1800 iMac), showing anyone that they can be creative and use still these powerful and free marketing techniques, even though they may not own the proper computer themselves.

The 'comic strip' effect I used is a feature of the program 'PhotoBooth' which is included on all Macs. This might be useful for people who are shy about appearing on a YouTube video. It can cover those 'bad hair' days and the zit on your nose!

The other fun 'PhotoBooth' effect is having a background video play while you're recording your video. This helps those who have a messy home office...

If you'd like to record your own videos, on the latest and greatest computer equipment, stores like Best Buy let you play around on the computers on display. I simply brought a memory stick (I call it a USB flash drive) to copy the finished video from the computer. This entire process took 20 minutes, at most, because I did a few tests to make sure everything was working. What a great idea right?!

Helping Others... Isn't That What We Should Be Doing?

Helping others by providing something they want is the easiest way to create wealth and indirectly creates valuable prospects for your business!

That's an important quote and one I'm sure we could all agree on.

But how often do we actually follow that advice? Especially in our network marketing business? If we're going to have success in mlm (network marketing) don't we need to follow that advice there too?

But Chase I am trying to help them... my opportunity would be sooo great for them! They could have what they want (time freedom and the money to enjoy it) and I'd get what I want too (time freedom and the money to enjoy it).

Hold on there cowboy...

They've already decided to join the opportunity that they did. And for reasons you don't need to know about maybe. Maybe they have a family member that they are trying to help? Maybe they just need to do it themselves for a while? Have you ever told a 20-year-old what to do? Sometimes it is very frustrating because they too don't listen. But don't desert them. Just watch and be there to help because most likely they'll need some help.

What I have learned is that it is critical that I try to help everyone I can in the current business they are in, not to get them to join my business.

How about if you asked them what their primary problems were?

I'd bet they would say:

Well I don't really know what to say to the prospects I talk to because none of them are interested after I a great presentation?

and

I can't afford to advertise, or get this new internet presentation program, or get this tool or this book... (or whatever...)

Didn't they just tell you they don't have enough good leads and not enough cash flow to keep their business running?

hmmm. Maybe that's where you could help them. That's what I would do!

I'd talk to them and confirm that those are their main problems. Then I'd say "You know I've been there too. Cold-calling, making a list of my friends, attending weekly meetings... it all never worked and I was near-broke and very frustrated..."

You probably already have a business to promote, so the "Mine is better than yours" approach doesn't work well at all here, so I'm not even going to ask you to join my company. Promise!
